How to Use
Preparation method with a moka pot:
This tool is also known as an espresso pot or moka. It is a great device for making espresso coffee manually. In this method, hot water passes under pressure through the coffee powder and, after extraction, is collected in the upper chamber. The items you need for this method include a kettle of hot water, a moka pot, and Pagani Bitter Mix Coffee powder.
- Boil water in a kettle.
- Open the moka pot and pour the boiling water into the bottom chamber, up to just below the valve.
- Pour Pagani Bitter Mix powder into the funnel. Tap the bottom of the funnel on a surface to level the powder completely. Repeat this step until the funnel is full.
- Without tamping or pressing the powder, place the funnel into the chamber. At this stage, ensure the gasket is properly in place.
- Connect the top part of the moka pot to the bottom part and place it on the stove.
- After a few minutes, water will move from the bottom chamber to the top under pressure. This is easily recognizable by the sound created by the pressure.
- After hearing the sound, it takes about 10 to 15 seconds for the extraction and transfer of the boiling water to finish. At this point, remove the pot from the stove and wait another 10 seconds until the sound fades. The moka pot is a tool for making espresso drinks at home, and with a few tries, you will easily learn how to use it.
